I was thinking about making my own dinner rolls lately, but I was afraid of it’ll too dry, so I wondered what can I put in to avoid it, then it popped into my mind: cheese! So this is my stuffed dinner rolls!
It’s easy, maybe it takes some time, but I’m sure you can do yourself!
2 Eggs + 1 egg for egg wash
1 pkg Active dry yeast
4 cup Flour
3 tbsp Margarine
1.5 cup Warm water
1 tsp Sugar
3 tbsp Salt (you can use less!)
Cheese and ham (enough slice for each roll, I used 8-8)
Sesame seed to the top
Pour the warm water into the mixing bowl, add the packaged yeast and the sugar, let it rise, it’ll take about 10 mins. In the meantime prepare the other ingredients, such as beat the eggs, measure the flour and the margarine. When the yeast is ready, add the beaten eggs, the margarine, the salt and the flour! Mix it then knead it until it becomes a flexible dough, put into a warm place, cover it and let it double!
I rolled it about 1 cm thick and cut it into 8 squares.
Put cheese and ham into each square, coat the whole squares with egg wash, it’ll make easier to you roll them.
Make sure you seal the ends, so the cheese won’t flow out!
So add some more egg wash, cut it a little vertically and sprinkle it with sesame seed or any other seed you want!
Bake it for about 20 mins, but you’ll see when it’ ready!
(It’ll look like below)
It smells and taste amazing! My whole family loved it, so I’m gonna make it again tonight!
