Healthy meatloaf recipe

by Molnár-Papp Orsolya Anna

I wanted to try a meatloaf recipe for a long time, but most of the recipes were full of sugar and fat, so I decided I creat my own meatloaf recipe, I tried to make it healthy, I think I achieved it and it was delicious! So here is my healthy meatloaf recipe:

Ingredients:
1 kilo low-fat minced turkey
0.5 kilo mushroom
1 diced onion
2 eggs
Tomato puree (better if you DIY, but if you must buy it, chose the one with no added-sugar!)

Honey, salt, pepper, paprika
Low-fat cheese, in case you want to fill it!

Clean and dice the onion and the mushrooms, put them into a bowl, add the meat, the seasoning (salt, pepper, paprika) and the eggs and mix them! Put the mixture into a pan or a heat-resistant bowl. (If you want to fill the meatloaf, separate the mixture in halves and after you add the first half to the pan, add the filling, then add the other half of the meat on the top of the filling)

Mix the tomato puree with a little honey and add a little salt and pepper. Pour to the to of the meat!

Pre-heat the oven, then put the meatloaf and bake it on low-heat for an hour!

It’s a low-fat and healthy meatloaf, the mushroom won’t let it become dry, delicious and not contain added-sugar! Worth to try!
