What is Blogmas?

You probably see Blogmas and even more often Vlogmas around this time of the year on social media. Blogmas and Vlogmas is mostly means daily blogging/vlogging for 25 days, until Christmas, but I saw some 12-14 days Christmas blogging/vlogging series too!

Some bloggers swears on the “only Christmas themed content on blogmas” philosophy, but mine won’t be like that. My Blogmas posts are probably gonna be shorter than usually, I’ll mostly blog about my day, but I’ll sneak Christmas feeling to them too!

Honestly this will be a challenge for me, but I believe I’ll be able to make it to the Christmas day finish line!

Blogmas 2016 Day 1

Today we woke to a miraculously snowy view. I mean it was just about an inch of snow, but that counts too right?!

To tell the truth the weather is not like it used to be; when I was a child, we used to have snowy winter all the time.

I remember as kids we were playing in the snow, building snow fortresses, making snow angel etc. Nowadays we hardly ever any snow and when it does, it disappears so fast. So no snow fun for today’s kids.

Anyway, I enjoyed the snow in the morning. It lifted my mood and pushed me to challenge myself with this Blogmas.

Also I’m proud of how well I accomplish my own hydration challenge so far! I decided to drink more water insted of the sugary tea and sodas and to stay hydrated. Drinking water was always hard for me, it’s just plain and tasteless (like it should be) and I forget to drink after a few sip. But this time I forced myself to drink sip after sip and in a few hours I didn’t even realized I was reaching for the water bottle withouth thinking about it. From then on I noticed it’s not that hard to drink 2 liters of water a day and I already feel better!

Beside staying hydrated I realized I love chia seed oatmeal! Also I can eat it even if I make it with water; which I hated before, oh I don’t need a ton of sugar in it! So once again an accomplishment!

Tomorrow I’ll have classes, so I had to travel to the uni and back, which is about 2 hours away from here. I’ll have classes to 8 pm, so tomorrow’s Blogmas will probably be real short and I have to publish it late! But anyway I try my best to share it on time!
